Design Tips (Raised Foil)

• Raised foil looks best with bold, clean shapes and high-contrast layouts.

• Avoid tiny text, thin lines, and very detailed patterns—raised foil may not stamp cleanly.

• Use raised foil as an accent (logos, names, icons, borders, patterns).

• Foil is a metallic finish, not ink—avoid gradients or photo-like details in the foil layer.

• If choosing foil on both sides, the same foil colour must be used on both sides.

Upload one PDF with multiple pages:

• Page 1: Regular print artwork (CMYK)

• Page 2: Raised foil artwork only

Raised foil areas must be vector objects set to 100% K (Black) only (no CMYK mixes, no gradients).

If you selected Raised Foil on both sides, include additional pages:

• Page 3: Back side regular print artwork (CMYK)

• Page 4: Back side raised foil artwork only (100% K vectors)
